Prepared illustrations for the User Handbook which were compiled by
the Publications Section. The illustrations were prepared directly from the equipment, or
from photographs or engineering drawings. They were then passed for photographic
processing and printing. Other work included the creation, in colour, of display stands,
wall diagrams and slides for the purpose of demonstrating the many aspects of the establishment's responsibilities ; these were used most particularly for
instructional and recruiting purposes.
